Missed Lessons

If a student misses a lesson due to illness they will be able to request a make-up lesson ONLY on presentation of a medical certificate. This will be subject to availability of classes and therefore may be offered as a credit towards a future term or holiday program.  If Diving Victoria has to cancel a lesson, you will be able to request a refund, credit or make-up lesson.  If a lesson is missed due to holidays, school camp or any other commitments, no make up lesson will be available

Class Changes

If you wish to change a class day, time or level part way through the term you may discuss this with your coach, however any final changes must be made through the Diving Victoria office, preferably via email (whitney@divingvictoria.com.au) so we can keep an accurate record of class numbers and so that you can be added to the correct mailing list.

Entry into MSAC (subject to change due to MSAC policies) – Prices for divers Under 16

A student entering MSAC for their dive lesson is required to pay diving single entry of $5.70. A 10 visit pass may be purchased for $50.00, or a 20 visit pass for $75.00.  A parent accompanying a child or staying to watch the lesson is temporarily no charge.  Parking at MSAC is FIRST HOUR FREE and $5.20 per hour after that. These fees are not included in the prices listed on the other side and are paid to MSAC reception upon entry.

Evaluations

Divers will advance by achieving 3 stars on all skills in each Level (1-7). Certificates will be awarded upon completion of each level. Skills learned at each level - click here.

Competitions (Term 1)

Pennant Week #4 (Sat 10 Feb - MSAC) and Pennant Week #5 (Sat 17 March - Aquanation)

Pennant is a competition series suited to all levels of divers and aims to provide them with competition experience and the opportunity to monitor their progress throughout the season, which runs from July-June.  There are six pennants held over this time period and these are the fourth and fifth for season 2017/18.

Each pennant consists of levels 1-10 plus open competition, and each level has different requirements.  Students will need to check with their coach for the appropriate level to enter and the dives they will need to perform.  Entries will close on the Sunday prior to the competition.

The pennant criteria (i.e. levels and dive requirements) can be found on the Diving Victoria website under EVENTS.
