Holiday Diving Program dates are currently scheduled to go forward as per below.  Any amendments due to the emerging COVID-19 situation will be considered and communicated as soon as possible.  Please note that Diving Dictoria will follow all necessary precautions to protect our divers and to provide a safe environment for all participating.  As per Sport and Recreation Victoria's reccomendation, we remind everyone to practice good hygiene.  Please click here for up to date information from the DHHS including hygiene resouces.

2020 Lil Rippers Holiday Diving Program - April

30 March - 9 April weekdays

The Lil Rippers Holiday Diving Program at MSAC in Albert Park, will run weekdays throughout the April school Holidays. This developmental program is geared toward beginner and intermediate divers ages 5-16.  There is no previous diving experience necessary.  Children must be confident in deep water.  This is a rare chance for divers to have access to the 3 metre boards and platforms. 

There are two class options daily.  9:30-11 would be appropriate for younger divers that may have difficulty with a 3 hour lesson, 9:30-12:30 would be appropriate for all levels of divers willing to have a go for 3 hours.  All divers will start in our dryland area on the second level of the indoor competition pool (in the spectator seating area).  Coaches will lead the divers in warm-up & conditioning exercises and possibly trampoline and dryboard work. They will then proceed to the water.  At 11:00am there were be a brief break for a snack and to warm-up.   Those that stay 9:30-12:30 will then have another dryland and water session.  If you have signed up for 9:30-11, but wish to stay to 12:30 - please inform the coordinator on the day as it may be possible to pay the difference.  This may depend on coach availability.

Divers may pick and chose any number and combination of days that suit your schedule.

Registration

• "Logging in" is not required.
• If you are signing up more than one diver wih this registration, please include their details (Name, Date of Birth and Days attending).
• Registrations will close at 9pm the night before a session unless full prior.  This will ensure that w have enough coaches to take the session.  If a class is marked as EXPIRED, please contact Whitney Michael by text (0411863483) as space may still be available.

What to bring

1. Bather
2. Towel
3. Water bottle
4. Shorts and t-shirt for dyland work (not required)
5. Snack if you are staying until 12:30

Cost

• 9:30-11 ($35), 9:30-12:30 ($45) + Pool entry

Where to meet

• Enter through reception to pay pool entry.  Proceed to Diving Pool and access the 2nd level Dryland via the steps from pool deck.

• If you enjoy the Holiday Program and would like to continue during the term, we have a Dive School at MSAC.
